AvonyaLabs › Virtual staging for real estate photographers

Virtual staging for real estate photographers

Sell staging as your own service. One endpoint, per-photo pricing, no branding in the output.

If you shoot real estate for a living, staging is something your clients already ask you for and you are probably sending out to someone else. The AvonyaLabs partner API lets you do it yourself, inside your own delivery workflow, under your own brand. Nothing in the response identifies us.

What you get

How it fits your workflow

Most photographers wire it into the step between culling and delivery. You already have a script or a gallery platform that pushes finished frames to the client; the API sits in front of that. Pass the frames you want staged, get them back, deliver everything together. Your client sees one gallery from one supplier, on your usual turnaround.

The technical shape is deliberately boring: a bearer token, a raw image body, query-string options. A working integration is usually under twenty lines. The integration guide has the full reference, including the response headers you will want to log.

The obligation that comes with it

Every image the API returns is digitally enhanced, and some are virtually staged. When those images reach an MLS or a listing advertisement, that has to be disclosed — and under the partner agreement, passing that requirement on to your clients in writing is your responsibility.

This is not boilerplate. California made non-disclosure of digitally altered real estate images a matter of law from January 2026, and the duty falls on the broker or salesperson advertising the property. Your clients need to know which files are altered and that they must keep the originals available. Build that into your delivery — a note in the gallery, a suffix on the filename, the originals delivered alongside — and it costs you nothing. Retrofitting it after a complaint is considerably more expensive. The disclosure guide is written to be forwarded to a client as-is.

What the engine will not do

It will not alter the structure of a property. No added or moved walls, windows, doors, rooflines or permanent fixtures, and no painting over a defect. Every result is independently checked against the original and a result that changed the building is rejected rather than returned — you get an error, not a fabricated room. That constraint is the reason the output is safe to put in front of an agent, and it is not something you have to police yourself.

Getting set up

  1. Email [email protected] and tell us the business name and the billing contact.
  2. You get an activation link. It shows you the partner agreement, including the disclosure and indemnity terms, and issues your API key when you accept.
  3. Add a card. Images are charged as they are delivered, so the key stays locked until one is on file. Card details go to Stripe; we never see them.
  4. Point your integration at the endpoint and run a test frame.

If you would rather just use the web app like anyone else and skip the API entirely, that is a choice on the activation page. Nothing obliges you to integrate.

Frequently asked questions

Can I resell virtual staging under my own brand?

Yes. The AvonyaLabs partner API is white-label: the response contains the finished image bytes and nothing that identifies AvonyaLabs, so you present it as your own service.

What does the partner API cost?

$3.00 per finished image, charged to your card as each one is delivered. There is no monthly fee and no minimum. Images that fail to process are not charged.

How hard is the integration?

A bearer token and a raw image POST. Most integrations are under twenty lines of code. The full reference is in the integration guide.

How many images can I process per day?

500 per day by default, which covers a full shoot day comfortably. Higher limits are available on request.

Who is responsible for disclosing the altered images?

The broker or salesperson advertising the property carries the legal duty, and under the partner agreement you are responsible for passing that requirement on to your clients in writing.

Do I have to use the API?

No. Partner accounts can decline API access at activation and use the normal web app instead.
